TagBall Sports is Teaming Up with America

Education plays and extremely important role in teaching youth the values of tolerance, honesty and respect for the rules of fair play, and health care prevention.

The TagBall Sports team is teaming up with America to promote education through sport.  The team's overall goal is to stress the importance to raise awareness about the potential beneficial links between education and sport, the value of sport in terms of team spirit, solidarity, competition, fair play, improvement of physical and social skills, in addition to simply offering students a fun recreation activity.

TagBall is the ultimate non-violent alternative to flag and touch football! Same rules, no pain!

TagBall can be played year round, inside or outside.

tagballBefore Bell/Meac, the horse project, the tagball invention and the other patent was the blue print in my mind during my college experience to help defeat several major human problems that I could see that I saw as immediate corrupters of a greater consciousness toward our united greatness in accord to the American Constitution and the progress we made, and where we could go to as a nation and where we could go as a beacon of leadership world wide. So as a young person who was the third African American to intergrate St. Stephens for boys in Alexandria, Virginia in 1967/68, and then finishing up at TC Williams HS. the last two years, the school that was made famous about the race relations movie 'Remember The Titans", overcoming any type of discrimination, and improving diversity has been internalized into my psyche upon entering college. There as a young student I was hell bent on finding out why folk did not all love each other, and work toward the breaking down the barriers that separated folk. As I fell in love with psychology and began to learn how to really produce documentation that was of university publishing quality. Therefore I wanted to uncover research case studies that detailed discrimination issues. I chose the most recent and a experiential experience that I was aware of to begin formulating my thesis which became 15 years later Run in My Shoes. In the book, I researched documentations in history to the present that would help the readers understand where the vestiges of our social divide occurred and my conclusion was if one could see the cause and effect then one would conclude that all was necessary was to re-tool the mind with a different picture. I also wanted to highlight that racism was just a cousin of the greater family tree of discrimination and bigotry of any type to show that it needs to be examined from a broader human concept. Therefore, all I'm saying that my life has always been a way of developing strategies, writings, experiences, whatever that bring people together positively to reduce the fears, and implanted myths of the vestiges our inner human issues of discriminating and hating on each other. Therefore, I believe that Tagball is the book in action that it can bring people together without fears of physical barriers and accomplishes the social endeavors as sports historically do in bringing all elite skilled talent together. However, Tagball accomplishes the sport social paradigm, without the elite talent aspect. Its not the words of the book, but it is the reason and the goals intended of the book. Therefore, it makes the the connection relevant to the intended focus of turning academic research into a plan of action.
